 Amir Mousavi has over 20 years of work experience in emergency services and is currently a doctoral student working on a degree in Public Policy Analysis & Homeland Security Policy Coordination. He has earned his MS degree in Safety, Security, & Emergency Management, a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Science. He has also earned two associate degrees in Fire Science Technology and Emergency Medical Care, is a Certified Emergency Manager and holds the designation of Chief Fire Officer. Amir is currently the Director of Safety for the City of Jeffersonville and the Assistant Fire Chief at Utica/New Chapel Fire & EMS. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University (IU) and University of Indianapolis (U of I), teaching classes in workplace violence, safety & security, fire protection systems; HAZMAT; emergency management, planning, response & recovery; and, homeland security. Additionally, he has an extensive background teaching fire, EMS, and law enforcement personnel. In 2012 he served as a member of the Command and General Staff during the response to the Tornado in southern Indiana. In 2016 he served as part of the joint Federal, State and Local Incident Management Team, which responded to Dubois County IN and assisted in managing the response to the outbreak of the H7N8 Bird Flu. He is currently serving as the Indiana Task Force 9- Deputy Commander All Hazard Incident Management Team. In 2015 Amir was selected by IDHS to travel to California as part of the Indiana contingent to train and assist with the River Complex Fire in Shasta Valley. On-Site Audits: Either site scheduled or random inspections to identify areas of non-compliance, providing you with immediate help, advice and direction. Site inspection services may cover: statutory documentation, induction training, risk assessment, excavations, working at heights, housekeeping, welfare, first aid, plant lifting equipment, public safety, fire & emergency procedures, COSHH, noise, personal protective equipment.
